External Sinus Lift
External sinus lift is especially useful when several teeth need to be replaced or there is very little bone left. A small opening is made from the side into the maxillary sinus, and the bone replacement material is inserted.
From our Cases
Case 1
Case 1: In this is case the remaining bone height is around 1.5-2mm. It is uncertain to achieve a good primary stability when placing our implant. A external approach is indicated to elevate the sinus membrane. Note the gain of the bone in height, achieved after the procedure. In this situation a period of 9 months is required to be able to place the implants in a good bone quality. Surgery done by Dr Walid El-Kattar
