Internal Sinus Lift
In internal sinus lift, the maxillary sinus membrane is treated through the implant hole. Bone material is put into this empty space. The intact membrane prevents bone material from entering the sinus. The internal sinus lift especially works well if few teeth have to be replaced.

Case 1
Case 1: When we have more then 4mm of remaining bone height (vertically), an internal sinus lift can be achieved with good primary stability of the dental implant. You can see the apical bone around the implant apex when elevating the sinus membrane. Surgery done by Dr Walid El-Kattar
Case 2
Case 2: In this case the alveolar ridge was constructed 4 months after tooth extraction. A dental implant can be placed in a 3D , elevating the sinus membrane of 1.5mm in height. Surgery done by Dr Walid El-Kattar

Case 3: A Straumann dental implant is placed in position 24 and elevating the sinus membrane around 3-4mm inside the maxillary sinus. Note the presence of bone around the apical part of the implant reflecting a healthy elevation of the sinus membrane. Surgery done by Dr Walid El-Kattar
Case 4
Case 4: These two zimmer dental implants were placed in an atrophic ridge height after internal sinus elevation. Note the remaining bone height at implant in position # 16, was only 4mm, and a 35N/cm implant torc of implant stability is achieved when placing this implant. Surgery done by Dr Walid El-Kattar

Case 5: Implant is placed after socket preservation of the site after tooth extraction. Note the presence of the bone around the apical part of the implant. Surgery done by Dr Walid El-Kattar
